Headquartered in Arvada, Colorado, CivTrans is committed to providing quality traffic and civil engineering services to all areas of Colorado, Washington and Idaho. We emphasize on the development of creative, cost-effective, and results-oriented solutions.

Craig MacPhee, PE, PTOE
Owner-Founder of CivTrans Engineering
Craig is the owner of CivTrans Engineering and has over twenty years of experience managing transportation, traffic and civil engineering projects throughout the western United States. His primary areas of expertise include traffic operations analysis, transportation design and land development design. Mr. MacPhee has designed over 100 traffic signals and performed hundreds of traffic studies for a wide variety of projects. He has worked on small projects like coffee stands to large mixed-use, transit-oriented developments (> 1 million square feet), small and large residential developments, municipal, institutional, parks, medical, and university campus projects. With Craig’s knowledge in multiple areas of land development design, he can bridge the gap between civil and traffic engineering.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho and Washington.
Certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) by the Transportation Professional Certification Board
Graduated in 2000 with B.S.C.E. from the University of Idaho
